Folies is a landscape at dawn in which the dreamlike dancers appear to be frozen in motion. Inspired by the different artistic movements of the nineteenth and twentieth century, Folies combines Dada and the Macchiaioli in a sort of interwoven magic in which female figures take centre stage. A static visual dance; an eternal moment captured in a background.
