OS2 65

Secco Sistemi

Corten and Brass

Description:

Window with thermal break for glazing up to 40 mm, 27 mm profiles, 62 mm central knot and sashes distinguishable in the elevation.

This is the thermal break balcony window, with profiles from just 27 mm to 47 mm for the side node, 62 mm for the central node, depth 65 mm. It can accommodate insulating glass up to 40 mm.

OS2 65 is part of the OS2 family of profiles, designed, conceived and manufactured for the replacement of windows and doors used from the nineteenth century until the middle of the last century.
Also used in contemporary architecture in search of transparency and purity of line, the slim OS2 profiles dematerialise walls and allow great freedom in the design of the window and door frames.

The performance of the OS2 thermal break system has been tested by the best European certification laboratories in accordance with the EN 14351-1 reference standard.

OS2 65 is a flexible and versatile system to create infinite variants of the frame and design the desired window or door in detail, always with the minimum sections and high performance of the OS2 profile family. In the case of continuous glazing, the OS2 system allows fixed and opening elements to be assembled in various ways: by highlighting the profile of the sashes in the elevation with respect to the fixed uprights, or by making the design of the window or door undifferentiated by using profiles with the same visible sections everywhere. In order to better distinguish the various options, two subsystems have been created: OS2 65.1 and OS2 65.2. With OS2 65.1 the glazing is not coplanar and the frame profile emphasises the perimeter of the sashes. With OS2 65.2, on the other hand, the glazing is coplanar and the profile sections can always be constant, whether in the fixed mullions, the nodes or the sash perimeter.
